Format:
ABCD Shamble
Par 4s and Par5s - All four players hit a tee shot, the best shot is selected. Each player then places a ball at the best tee shot and completes the hole by themselves, recording their individual score. This procedure is repeated for all the holes except par 3s.
1 required drive from each player … can not be on a par 3
The 2 best net scores are counted for the team.
Threesomes will alternate hitting a second tee ball and receive a blind draw player.
Each player must play their own ball all the way through on par 3s and select the 2 best net scores. Threesomes will receive a blind draw player.
85% of full handicap
Field Size is limited to the first 120 players.

Tie Breaking: USGA (Last 9/6/3/1 holes).
Prizes/Payouts:
- Payouts will be determined based on the format and number of participants.
- Payouts will be finalized after signups close, and the number of players is known.
- If there are blind draw players in the event, they will be eligible for one prize only, the highest amount from either the original team or the blind draw team.
Proximity Awards: $25 “Closest to the Hole” - Holes 2, 6, 13, and 15 (eligible to all players)
Food and Beverage: Box Lunch at the Turn. Your options are Ham or Turkey, and the selection will be made as you register.
Entry Fee: $80 Credit Card, full refund if canceled before signup closes. Fee includes cart, range balls, golf, prize pools, proximities, food, and taxes.
Credit card payment is mandatory and charged to your card at the time of registration. If you cancel at any time during the registration period, your entire entry fee will be automatically refunded to the card used (if the card has been canceled between registration and withdrawal, contact the tournament coordinator. If you are waitlisted for a tournament and do not gain entry to the field, your tournament fee will be refunded when sign-ups close. Cancellations after sign-ups close must be made via phone call to the Tournament Coordinator listed at the top of this page. Refunds will not be issued for any reason for late cancellations or no-shows.
Handicap determination:
Handicap Indexes will be downloaded from GHIN at the close of sign-ups. Playing Handicaps will be computed using the tee selection on the registration form, which may not be changed after registration closes. The Handicap Allowance for this event is 100%

Please review the Notice to Players under "Event Notices" at the top of the page. Players are responsible for becoming familiar with any local rules in use on the day of play. If there are adjustments to this Notice to Players, changes will be reviewed at the first tee meeting and/or printed in handout form.
Score Posting:
The player's official scores will be those posted in Golf Genius. Teams are responsible for ensuring that the Golf Genius scores reconcile to any paper scores kept. There will be a scoring table at the conclusion of the round, and a representative from each team must certify scores there. Unless the Event format is a shamble/scramble, scores will be automatically posted to GHIN following the round by the NASMGA Golf Genius team.
